Poliça are getting ready to release a deluxe edition of their second album, Shulamith, and today they share a cover of Leslie Gore’s classic bubblegum-pop hit “You Don’t Own Me.” They give the song a darker edge, though that falls in line with the sounds and imagery they’ve been exploring since last year. Check it out below, along with the still unbeatable Gore original.

Shulamith will be reissued 6/10 via Mom + Pop.
