Brooklyn-based punk-hardcore band You Fucking Die are here to prove that New York is still dangerous. Featuring members of the Scrapers, You Fucking Die is made up of intense, rabble-rousing punks with a taste for violent indulgence and well-intended rebellion. But they aren’t your typical three-chord punk band. “Sterile Art,” off their upcoming debut EP, largely deploys a guitar sound that grooves and grinds, while incorporating fierce, crashing drums and angry vocals encapsulating classic punk angst via lyrics like “I’d like to think that my life means something.” With its fast-paced rhythm and a fair amount of fury, “Sterile Art” certainly has the capability to pull you into the pit.
