This summer, the people of the UK will vote in a referendum on whether or not they want to remain a part of the European Union. Gruff Rhys, longtime frontman of the Welsh band Super Furry Animals, hopes that they stay. So he’s written a new song called “I Love EU,” a full-on love song dedicated to the continent of Europe. He’s also written an editorial for The Guardian about why he wrote the song and why he hopes to remain a part of the EU. Check out the song below.
