Maria Usbeck easily has one of the most beautiful albums of the year so far in Amparo. I say that without the slightest flinch or hesitation, even only knowing about every fourth word or so of her exquisite Spanish vocals. We’ve already heard “Moai Y Yo,” “Uno De Tus Ojos,” and “Jungla Inquieta” and all have been gorgeous in their own right. Today, the whole album is streaming via Gorilla vs. Bear. I’d try to describe how incredibly alluring this album is again, but I think I’ve run out of worthy superlatives. Just listen.
