Tori Amos has been a powerful voice on the subject of rape ever since she released the harrowing “Me And A Gun” nearly 25 years ago. Later this month, Netflix will release the new movie Audrie & Daisy, a documentary about the rapes of teenage girls in California and Missouri. And Amos has contributed the new song “Flicker” to those movies. It’s a beautiful piece of music that digs deep into some profound human ugliness. Amos also appeared in a new featurette about the song and the movie, talking about the song and the movie and what they mean to her. Below, listen to the song and watch the featurette.
“Flicker” is out now at iTunes, and proceeds go to RAINN. Audrie & Daisy comes to Netflix 9/23.
