Clark – “Honey Badger”

On the tails of his eighth studio album, Death Peak, earlier this year, British electronic producer Clark is back with a new 12” single. The lead off that single, “Honey Badger,” isn’t symmetrical by any stretch, nor has Clark’s past work been known to stick to any particular loop. So to say his latest is engaging would simply be an understatement. “Honey Badger” transitions from one phrase to the next, reiterating in varying styles and tonalities throughout. An idea doesn’t last long enough for a listener to get locked into a pattern before the next one begins. Listen below.
