The Hundred In The Hands – “Tom Tom” Video

When we posted the “Dressed In Dresden” remix a little while back some people were eagerly anticipating some original material from the Brooklyn-based duo. Now they’ve got the This Desert EP, six new tracks out earlier this month. The first video from the album, for “Tom Tom,” focuses on vocalist Eleanore Everdell, while Jason Friedman doesn’t play his guitar. “Tom Tom” is nearly all rhythm cut with jagged, sporadic guitar, something they call “Summertime Goth,” that feels remarkably lithe, despite the heavily layered percussion. The video was directed by Ben Crook.

This Desert is out now via Warp.
