When Weston Currie directed honest Abe Vigoda in “Skeleton,” he had them resembling zombie mimes stuck in a pitch-black enclosure. This time, for Reviver’s topsy-turvy SY-guitar rouser “Don’t Lie,” we catch the post-Reggie band hitting the road with open windows and their hair in the breeze sans face paint. Now and again the footage is overlaid with stars/outerspace because singing along to a favorite song in a vintage car with your bros is universal. And because the sky and clouds play a role in the lyrics, probably.
The Reviver EP is out via PPM.
