If you're bored by the Stage Names, i just feel bad for you man.
Why the hell can't I find this on any torrent site?
Probably sucks either way... This is Metallica we're talking about.
I'm dissapointed in this album...a big step down after Mr. Beast.
What do you expect? Bond moves are the pinnacle of commercialism.
Man for all the Oasis hate around her,e they sure get a lot of coverage. All their trash-talking is acually an ingenius promotion strategy.
What's up with all the assholes in here?
All these shirts are indie 'inside jokes' that I would end up having to explain a million times.
I find it funny how these paparazzi always try to play the victim in these situations, when if you actually watch an unbiased video you almost always see them intentionally provoking the celebrity just to get a reaction.
If this gets out to the pre-teen set, "Move Along" has a decent shot of taking this thing.
The storyline's too rushed for any boar hunting.
Why do kids on the internet think they are smarter than everyone else?
Thought about buying the shirt, but I don't want to deal with all the questions when I wear it... Maybe the next one.
I'm gonna guess that wasn't the real reason behind the attack...
Damn right they're not challenging anyone...that's why they haven't made a relevant album in a decade.
May sounds stupid to the haters, but at one point there was nothing more meaningful to me than shouting "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" right along with Zach. Just a more direct way of saying the same thing as every protest song ever...
Obama would have then out before Bush, who would have them out before McCain. True, Obama isn't far off from Bush on this anymore but McCain is still off in his own world away from everyone.
How can you complain about what's left out? This list is totally random.
Ugh why is Tilly and the Wall so lame lame lame all of a sudden?
I don't think she actually recorded the entire "How Can I Tell You" cover, and I wouldn't be surprised if the story is the same on this one. I'm already mixed on artists I like hawking diamonds and gas-guzzlers, but recording a piece of a cover just for a commercial seems wrong (and it's not only becuase I want to hear the whole thing).
After Viva La Vida, I'm actually sorta excited.
It baffles me that the RIAA still hasn't figured out how to regulate this stuff without making themselves look like total assholes...
People still listen to Metallica? New Metallica?
Man these celebrity Obamafests are only making it worse for him...
I gotta ask: Is this the same guy posting over and over again from every computer in his office about how DMB changed his life?
This guy was an amazing musician, as are many DMB members, but you have to admit DM himself writes some pretty shitty music. Frankly I am shocked to see so many DMB fans on Stereogum. To each his own, though.
I like the Hold Steady a lot, but this dude has no place commenting on musical innovation. Not saying he isn't a good guitarist, but his style is 30+ years old. It's all based on power chords and classic rock scales. Radiohead is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum.
Good album but nothing touches "John Allyn Smith Sails"
Ugh. We wouldn't be friends.
I normally like Cera movies, but something about this one rubs me the wrong way.
Everyone rips off the Beatles.
Would everyone love this bland country so much if anyone else was making it? I mean, this shit is OK, but I just want to hear some EMOTION again. Guess I'll just keep spinning Fevers and Mirrors.
Bands like this just drive home the point that talent in completely nonessential in mainstream rock music.
Ugh...this album was dissapointingly lame aside from "Graveyard Girl" (which still doesn't hold a candle to anything on Dead Cities...)
