Enjoyed the write up TB. Maybe classic man for song of the summer. it's all we've got. Can we all have a discussion about Future? I've listened to everything. Put in a lot of time with 56 nights, especially march madness (obvs). I totally get the appeal with the content, and the sludgy, drugged out vibe it's on. Future has got impeccable beat selection, and matched with his cadence, it's infectious. That said, almost once per song I hear something that actually makes me stop and make a face - it's totally involuntary, but its because a line was so off point that it threw off the flow. This is my major beef with Future - I kind of get the feeling that he's writing all his shit on the fly in the booth, like that p4k selector video when he freestyles off the tnght beat from like 10 years ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TQkl6hz_38). I think it's fair to make the comparison to thug's style, where there's this pervasive sense of "fuck it - put it out." And I don't mean to fall into some old head big ghost space, but I find myself wishing that a bit more time went into crafting the lyrics a bit more. what do y'all think?
beat sounds like garageband practice. cover art is contrived af. "kinda hard to keep my pants up" FOH
included on donny's "hot shiiiiiiit" playlist. coincidence? ha. doubtful... #III_IIIIIIIIIII
Have they ever played "fade away" live? I really enjoyed the video of them playing trouble in the message centre. makes me crave those deep cuts. Also the new album has really aged well over the past 5 internet years (3 months IRL).
I think I might really like this... especially "stick up kids"
Maybe "bbhmm" could be the song of the summer? We could just do that, I guess
YOU WERE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BURN THE BLOODY DOORS OFF.. https://rhulgeopolitics.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/italian-job.jpg
this has been keeping me up at night. I don't know if there really is one, is there? agreed on the "good times". Maybe classic man? kind of the same as fancy, but less infectious chorus. sad times...
the best drop in your pantaloons is a piping hot one of jazzing proportions.
I can't be there but I'll be happy to cover the cost of printing up flyers (i.e., "truth leaflets") to hand out to sheeple. i don't know if hold steady is playing or not but that would be the crowd to 'educate'. do the cause proud, fellas.
if you boys don't do yr chores, then i will. but there'll be consequences.

you're not related sammy just a joke about our earlier discussion regarding the semantics of young thug's recent charges. not meant to be a personal hostile attack. you could have made the joke about me - i'm just as guilting. a thousand apologies if you were offended.
Whoooooooa. wtf. These are some serious charges. First and foremost - this is a joke based on the fact that this other individual and I got into a debate regarding this young thug issue. It's not a big deal and I certainly did not mean to sully the person's name. He responded negatively to something I posted, and so I responded. Bloc posted something about semantics and so I made a joke about it because its timely. It's unfair to suggest that it's anything other than that. I certainly haven't gone out of my way to do anything other than type the person's name and ask if they're "hanging out." come on... I love bloc and actually respect [redacted] for his point of view on the young thug matter. as [redacted] would say, you're being edgy. Second, I didn't get "schooled" in the young thug thread. It was a legitimate comment on a real social issue that is currently happening and the individual and I exchanged posts about it. I had absolutely no idea that it was his "Facebook name" and honestly couldn't give less of a shit about what he thinks about me, and I'm pretty sure he thinks the same. Now, as far as what you're talking about regarding creating "the hostile atmosphere you are responsible for creating in these comment threads," that's baseless and unfounded. I go out of my way to do the opposite, unless someone is being a complete asshole, which Sam was not. again, it was meant to be humorous and not to be offensive to him as a person. Finally, I don't know what you're talking about with regard to this vendetta about 2 years ago when I used your "middle name." show me the post? I honestly don't remember it. The only way I can see it happening is if you were being unreasonable and I clicked your Facebook-linked profile and if sent me to your page and I did something dicky and posted your full name. But, honestly, I kind of doubt that I would do that. It's typically not my style, unless maybe I was in some sort of altered state of mind (like currently), however I still find it hard to believe. THAT SAID, R&P, if I used your full Facebook name in the past and it caused you distress that is not cool or acceptable and I truly do apologize for it. This is the internet, and I guess at times you're right it is easy to hide behind the puppet. I would never want to hurt someone who has the guts to use their personal profile on a site, and, if I have in the past, then that was wrong. I would only want to cultivate an environment of positivity on this site. Anyway, this is probably a good excuse to take a break from the site as life's too short and jeeeee-sus.
Bloc, have you been spending time with Sam Deutsch?
false equivalency false equivalency false equivalency false equivalency. The average person doesn't have your apparent expertise in state legal codes and would equate the two, especially given that, as you rightly noted, "our modern conception of ‘terrorism’ coincidentally become such a loaded issue." I think it's "ignorance" to claim otherwise. But yes it is definitely more important to defend the semantics of state legal codes at the expense of larger issues related to race in america. I bet you're great at parties.
pandering to who or what? It's an issue with semantics, doctor dictionary. Whether it is "terrorism" or "terroristic" the implication for joe blow reading the news is the exact same.
great eye muffin. I think I found it: "which all nations of the world flow” (Isa. 2:2)." Now, there's more than meets the eye. Let's count the numbers in the first word, "ISA" = 3 letters. 2 = II. 2 = II. now, drawing from spice girls theory, "2 become 1," we merge those "II's" into "I" and what do we get? 3II. #wewillprevail
threaten to shoot a security guard = "terroristic threat" ACTUALLY shoot black ppl in a church in a racially motivated massacre = debate on definition of terrorism

Tom Petty is the Yzerman of rock: pure class.
I find the album quite danceable, and almost MJ esque in some of its beats, be it fast or slow. "yes i;m changing' would soundtrack the most lit af slow dance in 80s film history.
WAIT http://i0.wp.com/www.brobible.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/pictures-dicks-superbad.gif he also "drew cocks," get it? WHOOOooooo FUCKIN NAILED IT

The mike will school of wasting all your best songs on 1 min tracks. see: beach is better, never satisfied
between RJC and Dicky i'm keeping up to date with all the leaks -it's like a bloody faucet in here! lol, mercy. I agree with dick "it's" lit-man. Ryan with the STELLAR AF review. So thoughtful and caring. Very much enjoyed reading it. What really struck me was the initial listen ryan referred to. I felt similarly and sent RJC a message with my predicted p4k review (7.9 or 8.4), but I feel that this album ranks quite high on my overall year to date list of albums. too early to rank it next to lonerism, BUT, I happened to stumble across feels like we only go backwards and it sounded like an unfinished demo compared to the beautiful gloss of this album, and that was my favourite song of whatever year that was. RJC, you noted the outstanding production and you hit the nail on the fucking head per usual my friend. Also, the moment is one of the best tracks of the year. There's SO much happening in that song. By the 2 minute mark when that killer fuzzed out shit comes in I checked to see if we were at the 5 minute mark or something. feels so full and multi-suite-esque despite the brevity - just like songs by his vocal spirit john lennon/beatles. ITS GETTING CLOSERRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr OOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhh
Chris I hear you, but what's not clear is how PE compares to AOTW. It's all very murky. Would you say one ranks higher? Are we talking ordinal or nominal here? Can we get legal involved in this? We need someone to break their legendary silence.
