I’ve never heard this. Always wanted to. It’s incredible
All My Happiness is Gone is in SOTY contention for me.
I’d like to try some post Pinkerton Weezer songs. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

"Wayne is easily the single most influential rapper of this century, it also exists in conversation with all the music that Wayne has inspired." Is that definitely true? And how close is Kanye?
Because of the highs of his previous works, I have been disappointed by this latest release. But I've still listened to it many times. Patrick has that power.
Second half blew me away
I'm definitely not sure what it means in this context. and I appreciate the way you think and are making me think. Initially, I disliked Obie's implication that his own opinion was potentially worth less due to his identity. That is does not strike me as individualism. And as far as what it means in this context? I think it simply stifles open dialogue and freedom of speech. I value freedom of speech over most other things. I'm not willing to sacrifice that freedom. Totally agree on your last point. A truly terrifying result of the progressive push towards identity politics is that it opens up a playing field that the identitarian far right is more than willing to join.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Well, I am pro individualism. Identity politics value the group over the individual. That philosophy presumes that group identity is paramount. That’s the fundamental philosophy that drove the Soviet Union and Maoist China. And it’s the fundamental philosophy of the left-wing activists today.
Those 12 Rules for Life, they work. Try them out, my brother
I take it back. No longer outraged. Sorry for that moment of weakness. I do believe that individualism is unfathomably important and that if the current cultural and political rises of collectivism and identity politics may lead to the loss of any freedoms we have obtained. How can you say identity politics are poisonous while also stating your opinion may be less valuable based on your race and gender and age?
Why does it matter if you're a cisgender 20 something white male or a transgender 40 something orange person, as long as you speak the truth.?! Identity politics are bull shit and deadly. Look into the 20th century for 5 minutes. Also, I do agree with your main point, but the preface at the beginning made me outraged and I couldn't control my anger.
^that was after one listen. I grew up on Taytay, so I was doing my best to like it. but. It is fucking really bad
Strings and beats, and a chorus with just a drum machine.. its oddly cinematic at times, and very sparse at times. and then the resentment and anger and spite and snarl are turned up to 10. def a better than shake it off

1. The Mercey Seat 2. Let Love In 3. Into My Arms 4. I Need You 5. Jubilee Street
Good songs. But I got to go with Wovenhand.
Fuck yes. DEE is my favorite musician ever.
Hungry mobs should get more news coverage than Radiohead fans.
This shit gave me shivers.
This is the United States in 2016. It's sad.
True Love Waits is my SOTY.
See, I love the gospel kick. A person's spirituality is about as personal a level as there is. I'd hope there are some drug use and personal conflict songs though. I'm very excited for the whole tape.
I mean, your example comment is grammatically incorrect. More than enough reason to garner a down vote or two.
I think. Kid A: 10 OK Computer: 10 In Rainbows: 9.8 Amnesiac: 9.6 The Bends: 9.5 HTTT: 9.3 TKOL: 8.4 Pablo Honey: 7.0 I could see A Moon Shaped Pool ending up anywhere between 9.3 and 9.8. I do hate myself for attempting to quantify my love for A Moon Shaped Pool already (though I am currently on my 10th listen). Its kicking me in the soul.
I mean.. Everything in its Right Place.
Listened through once so far. So much restraint and beauty. AND IT'S FUCKING GOOD.
The tracklist is in alphabetical order on ITunes, too. Is that correct?
It was fun while it lasted, James Blake.
This song feels a little like Sigur Ros to me. Which is perfect.
