I can't wait for the Bonk's Adventure interlude
I gotta say that Tom/Colin missed out on a golden trolling opportunity by not posting a 1975 track in RTJ's weekly playlist.
Lose: 'Low Lights', 'Freestyle 4', 'Silver Surfer intermission', and 'Facts', then tighten up '30 Hours' and it's straight fire. And while we're being honest I could do without 'Wolves' too.
That kid that said "Nobody likes Tidal" in front of Kanye is a god damned hero. And as much as I dig Pablo, IMO any album that contains 'Facts' can't be considered "an absolute destroyer from front to back."

And the album title sounds like a quote that some vapid teen would attribute to Gandhi on their Instragram feed.
They sound like Alex Turner with his balls in a vice singing Phoenix b-sides to me.
Island foods has the best roti in Toronto bar none. You won't be disappointed!
I won't downvote you, but I will take the opportunity to say that the jerk store called, and they ran out of you.
I can't get over that this is set at my favorite jerk spot in the city.
How does one access said list? Cause this is the tits.

Like Celine Dion and Avril Lavigne before him, we're proud to announce that Bieber is now your problem. Regards, Canada

Just noticed there was another article dedicated to this very topic. My bad.
I love the band, but i kind of wish that LCD stayed retired. Kind of takes away the bluster from that big farewell show at MSG. I know I sound incredibly naive, no one stays retired. But I honestly thought James Murphy might.

If you need me, I'll be listening to my Spotify playlist: "First Impressions of Earth Angles Machine" All killer, no filler.
Nice list. I was always a big 'Mucky Fingers' fan.
Chuck Klosterman wrote a great piece on the fire in his equally great book "Killing Yourself to Live"
Great, great article James, and I completely agree with your take on FRR. Being a 'Turonno' boy, these guys were basically the soundtrack to my twenties, and they always put on a helluva live show (and usually featured a full lineup) whenever they came home to play. It's not mentioned, but I'd also highly recommend the highly underrated Kevin Drew quasi solo album "Spirit If" Also "Cause = Time" contains one of the best guitar riffs in indie rock.
I can only assume that if it was a banger, you'd go with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwVDDxoKBk4
@Max couldn't agree more, Alive kills. @Saturnian Right?!
Well that sucks. And though it's an unpopular opinion, I still feel the same way about Random Access Memories.
This incident reminds me of one of favourite Busta songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6AfaCi5VH4
I think they mixed up the John Travolta Pulp Fiction heads up with the Nick Cave heads
