It's pretty good! Honestly it didn't grab me as much I was hoping that it would - sort of one of those things I enjoy while I'm listening to it but don't have much desire to go back to repeatedly - but it's certainly solid. The lyrics are good, very impressionistic.

Nah, gonna use my very small platform to encourage people to vote for the viable candidate who does not personally want me and every other marginalized person in this country to either not be here or live in fear for the rest of their lives. But thanks!
As I stated in the intro and in a few comments down below, we don't take the parameters of this list that seriously, and obviously there's always going to be exclusions. Don't think I'd classify that as lazy! This list is just an excuse to give special attention to new(ish) music we've been excited about all year. No deeper than that...
