Also, Supersymmetry and Porno would be the soundtrack (songs, including "Moon song") and the score is the piano music heard though-out. They are distinctly different.
I hate Sleigh Bells with a passion, they consistently churn out boring garbage. Alexis is just a generally bad singer. The only thing redeeming about this band is that she is attractive, literally nothing else.
I would have figured "Don't Think Twice It's Alright", "Times They are a-Changin", and "Desolation Row" all would have been on here. I would have also liked to have seen "Maggie's Farm" as well as "Subterranean Homesick Blues" (Because he is basically rapping and its fucking awesome.) and also for the novelty, "Rainey Day Women #12 & 35", maybe thats just me, I love "Bringing It All Back Home". I'm also a bit surprised at the lack of "Blowin' in the Wind" and "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall", but IDK, u do ur thing 'Gum.
Yeah, me too. Although I feel like at this point it may not be that big a change in sound for them, the way they've gone with making their music much cleaner and precise. I feel like that is more in-line with Pharrell's style than their older stuff, so maybe a Pharrell-produced-Strokes-album wouldn't be as weird as it may once have seemed.
The writing credits George Cromarty and Ed Rush as co-writers with the song's basis being their 1962 song "Please Mr. Kennedy" by The Goldcoast Singers. It appears the song you posted is a doo-wop cover.
That song is doo-wop, they are completely different dude, I assume they borrowed the title and that line to lend greater realism to the story, but they in no way copied the one you linked. Have you even listened to both of them?
They played the small local festival in my hometown this year, that I played myself with my own band, I had an all access artist pass and I wasn't able to make the show :(, now it really stings.......
No. Rubin is better as an executive producer, I really enjoyed Yeezus, and I think he definitely had a part in that, but I don't want more billy squier sampling or any rock sampling for that matter, or any bs like MMLP2. I wouldn't be surprised if they sampled born in the U.S.A. on it. Hopefully Q-Tip brings some sense to the album. I also wish Kanye would get back into producing his own stuff, the beats he made for Pusha T's "My Name is My Name" were excellent, especially "Numbers on the Boards".
