I think Jon Hamm is pretty cute. I have never felt attracted to Don Draper though. Like, dude is an asshole! I don't understand the swooning over the character. Well I kind of do, and it's depressing.
Excuse me while I am a nerd. $174k is roughly $14,000 a month. $500k mortgage w/ taxes, insurance, etc = $3,500/mo $100k student loans = $650/mo $50k in credit cards = $500/mo (assuming a 10%+ interest rate) $250k mortgage (cabin) = $1,880/mo That's $6530/mo going towards debt. Those are minimum payments, and assuming mid-level interest rates (6.5% on the mortgages, same on student loans). That still leaves you about $7,500 a month to spend on things other than debt and mortgage. Tears.
This kid is giving me a vibe: http://flowtv.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/glen-and-betty.jpg
This forever, please.
WOAH there. Brick is a freaking powerhouse of a movie starring my boyfriend. You take it back.
"Why did you wait until the last possible minute?" Oh those boys, always choosing their life partners on a whim!
Becca for President!
I would like to nominate Greenberg. It was truly awful and unwatchable in just about every way. Shitty people do not equal complex, flawed characters, Noah Baumbach!
I stand corrected. They are just hobbits, who eat 6 meals, including "dinner" at 11pm.
That is a late wedding! Dinner starts at 11pm? I thought he was old now.
Thanks for this Gabe. No snark. Good post and good work!
Oh man. Best thing ever or bestest thing ever? I can't decide.
It's really, really bad. It's kind of laughable in parts, though, so you could read it like the Hunt.
Hey. UTIs are nothing to laugh at. Ugggghh.
That makes total sense! I'm so glad a 12 year old could enlighten me about my important life choices. -Pregnant ladies everywhere.
No joke - I just watched Scott Pilgrim 4 times in the past week. I LOVE that movie and think it is more brilliant than those other movies.
