Watch Eddie Vedder Join Tom Petty In Amsterdam

Last night, Eddie Vedder — whose band was in Amsterdam also — joined Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for a couple of songs at Heineken Music Hall. Watch Vedder lead on “The Waiting” and join in on the set-closing “American Girl” below.

Jack White was also in the crowd, so just think of the possibilities left on the table there.

  1. i can’t imagine how boring it must be for Petty to play those damned songs over and over and over and over

    • Eh, it still probably beats being that age at a desk job, having spent the same amount of your life having done the same whatever over and over and over. I say that from my desk, at work, clocking in at several years younger than Tom Petty.

      • of course it does, but it’s all relative right? my point’s relative to other bands that have been around for a hell of a long time and are still touring. Petty’s constantly on tour, which is awesome, don’t get me wrong. but you know they’re gonna play those hits every night

  2. The primary difference being that we normal folk use kleenex, where these other folk use hundred dollar bills.
