Nas on Letterman

If you catch Nasir Jones on the right day, he’s still pretty much the best-dressed man in rap. Last night on Letterman, the man looked particularly dapper in a Sinatra-on-vacation sort of way, as he led a full band and horn section through “Daughters,” the maudlin-but-nice confused-father lament from his new album Life Is Good. I like how Letterman called him a “rapping star.” Watch it below.

Life Is Good is out now on Def Jam.

  1. Hard to believe that a NAS album has flown under the radar this past week but it really has with channel ORANGE’s greatness enveloping us all. Life is Good is really good and I liked this performance.
