Members Of Arcade Fire, Strokes To Play Charity BBall At POP Montreal

This year’s POP Montreal will host another POP Vs. Jock charity basketball game with proceeds benefiting DJ SportsClub, a youth group in the area. The rosters include Arcade Fire’s Win and Will Butler, Martin Starr (Freaks And Geeks, Party Down, Luke Bonner (brother of Spurs forward Matt Bonner), the Strokes’ Nikolai Faiture and more. Régine Chassagne and Kid Koala will provide the in-game music and David Byrne & Moment Factory will perform at half time. It goes down at McGill University’s Sports Centre on 9/24; ticket info here.
