Black Moth Super Rainbow - Cobra Juicy

The lurching, psychedelic Pittsburgh production unit Black Moth Super Rainbow will self-release Cobra Juicy, their new crowd-funded album, later this month. We’ve already heard the charged-up single “Window Smasher” and seen its awesomely ridiculous video. And now we’ve got another song from the album, a breezy burp of an electro jam called “Gangs In the Garden.” Hear it below.

Cobra Juicy is out 10/23 on the band’s own Rad Cult.

  1. fuck yeah

  2. It seems like BMSR’s sound is moving towards more of a garage-rockin’ skate-jam sound. Compare this to almost any track of “Falling Through a Field” and it’s pretty apparent that the identities of Tobacco and Black Moth Super Rainbow have finally merged. I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing at all based on the singles I’ve heard off “Cobra Juicy.”
