Toro Y Moi’s excellently slinky new album Anything In Return has already yielded two unexpectedly badass videos, for “So Many Details” and “Say That,” which depicted mastermind Chaz Bundick as a regal motherfucker. The latest, for the insinuating synthpop tune “Never Matter,” works as a departure, with Bundick only showing up at the end. Through the rest of it, a girl attempts to convince the patrons of a crusty flea market to dance to the song on camera, with adorable results. It’s all pretty heartwarming and wholesome until the twist ending. Steve Daniels directs; watch it below.
