Ty Segall – “Music For A Film 1″

By Tom Breihan / April 29, 2013 - 2:43 pm

It’s a big day for Ty Segall on the internet. His old crony Mikal Cronin is streaming an excellent album, his new band Fuzz dropped a video, and now Segall is ready to let the world know that he can funk. Segall, normally a wooly Bay Area fuzz-rocker, has a song on a new benefit split single with Chad & The Meatbodies, the seventh split in the Less Artists More Condos series, and it’s a sharp disco-rock churn called “Music For A Film 1.” There is some serious guitar-shred and rhythmic push-pull in this particular slab of awesome, and you can and should listen to it below.
