Here’s an Anniversary post you knew you were going to get: In Utero, Nirvana’s third and final studio album, turns 20 this fall. And the people at Universal have made the obvious but correct decision to reissue the thing, giving it packages that range from a no-extras single-disc remaster to a Super Deluxe Edition with three CDs and a DVD. The expanded version will include previously unreleased demos, as well as B-sides, compilation tracks (“Verse Chorus Verse”? “I Hate Myself And Want To Die”?), and the complete 12/13/93 “Live And Loud” concert at Seattle’s Pier 48. That “Live And Loud” show will also get a standalone live DVD release. All that stuff comes out 9/23 on Universal.
