Pearl Jam & St. Vincent

Last night, Pearl Jam’s Lightning Bolt tour hit Dallas’ American Airlines Center, where the band covered Pink Floyd, the Who, and Neil Young, who turned 68 this week. Their “Rockin’ In The Free World” came during a second encore and featured guests Carrie Brownstein on guitar and Annie Clark (St. Vincent) on tambourine and vocals. Check out a fan-shot video below.

You can watch Brownstein’s recent interview with Pearl Jam here and read our list of the ten best Pearl Jam songs here.

  1. I posted the entire video on my YouTube channel (with most of the rest of the show as well)

    • Creed was from the 90s dipshit. Pearl Jam runs circles around most bands of that era. They’re one of the few that can still sell out an arena. There were over 20,000 people at the show in Dallas. Still putting out solid albums.

Also, thanks to the author for trading out the video that was originally posted here for mine. I’m happy to provide the entire song rather than the partial that was making the rounds here and other places.

    • Annie is a big PJ fan. she has covered Black in the past

  3. I’ve been a huge Pearl Jam fan for going on almost 20 years now. St. Vincent’s one of the coolest act’s I’ve seen in the past 5 years or so.

That being said, I think this is so cool.

  4. Also, Eddie is definitely doing his part to keep our nation’s tambourine manufacturers in business.
