U2’s “Invisible” Free On iTunes During The Super Bowl

U2 are set to return this spring with a new as-yet-untitled Danger Mouse-produced album, though the only song we’ve heard from those sessions is the Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom soundtrack song “Ordinary Love.” It’s already won a Golden Globe and been nominated for an Oscar, but we don’t even know if that track is on the LP. On Super Bowl Sunday, though, we’ll get a chance to cop U2’s new single “Invisible” and do something good for the world in the process. Thanks to a promotional teamup with the generally nefarious Bank Of America, U2 will make the song available for free on iTunes for 24 hours starting during the Super Bowl, 2/2. And for every free download, Bank Of America will donate $1 to the AIDS-fighting charity (RED). U2 have also filmed a Super Bowl commercial, so expect to learn a whole lot more about this new album while you’re watching the big game.
