When we last caught up with Future, he was putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated Honest and kicking out a handful of mixtape tracks and remixes. It looks like Honest is finally finished, with a release date coming next week, but in the meantime, Future has released another online curiosity to hold us over. Today he joined Angel Haze among the ranks of sorta-rapper/sorta-singer types who’ve covered Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “Drunk In Love.” The good: Future mostly sticks to singing Bey’s parts and doesn’t bother replicating Jay’s garbage verse. The bad: His howling croon is pretty egregious here, AND he does not say “surfboart.” Download it below.
Honest is, allegedly, out soon via Epic.
