Jeff Tweedy To Appear On Parks & Rec

Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy will be stopping by Pawnee in an upcoming episode of Parks And Recreation. He’ll be playing the former singer of Land Ho!, a band who went through a nasty breakup but remains popular in the fictional Indiana town. Executive producer Michael Schur gives Entertainment Weekly some context for the appearance: “Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Andy (Chris Pratt) are trying to convince him to reunite for the big Unity Concert they are organizing to solidify the merger of Pawnee and Eagleton.” Parks And Recreation returns after the Olympics end on 2/27 and the Tweedy episode is set to air in early spring.

  2. Eggy wouldn’t mind “appearing” on Aubrey Plaza. (wink)

  3. Wouldn’t mind seeing Tweedy give his own rendition of “The Pit”.
