Chelsea Wolfe - "Feral Love" video

Chelsea Wolfe is going to be in the movies. The dark-pop singer-songwriter has teamed up with the director Mark Pellington, who did Pearl Jam’s iconic “Jeremy” clip and the pretty-great thriller Arlington Road, for an hour-long film called Lone. Wolfe wrote the movie, and all of the dialog comes from the lyrics to her 2013 album Pain Is Beauty. Wolfe’s new video for “Feral Love” serves as an excerpt from the movie. There are flashes of nudity, so be warned, and the whole thing is creepily badass. Werewolves, You’re Next/Wyatt Family-style animal masks, and Wolfe’s own death-mask swagger all feature prominently. Check it out below.

Pain Is Beauty is out now on Sargent House. Lone will be out later this year as a stream and a custom USB drive.

  1. yessss

    • last years best album for sure…not sure to what to make of the upcoming cinematic offering, but lets assume I’m all in

      • I don’t remember it being on any lists but it’s one of my top albums from last year for sure. Amazing album from start to finish (one that had to grow on me but the best ones usually do). This song actually was also in the Game of Thrones season 4 trailer a few weeks ago which has upped her street cred.

        • it was painfully neglected on most end of the year lists for inexplicable reasons, but it’s certainly number one for me.

also by far the best concert I went to last year.

  2. her pain is beauty album is woefully neglected in a lot of EOY list of 2013
