Kanye West - Yeezus movie

Kanye West’s Yeezus, Stereogum’s favorite album of last year, is about to become a movie. Hype Williams, inarguably the greatest rap-video director of all time, has directed a movie about Kanye’s Yeezus tour. Williams’s only previous feature film was Belly, the narratively jangled but visually ravishing 1998 Nas/DMX vehicle, and it was always a national tragedy that nobody gave him money to make another one, so bless Kanye for this. A trailer for the movie aired before Kanye came to the stage on Late Night With Seth Meyers earlier this week, and Kanye has now confirmed that it’s real and that the movie is “coming to theaters.” I’m hoping for an IMAX 3D release. You can watch the stunning trailer on Kanye’s website.

  1. [insert joke about "put my fist in her like a civil rights sign" scene in the movie, something about Kanye having bad lyrics on Yeezus, and throw in how he is a genius for good measure]

Guys you can all go home, I have completed this comment section already.

    • You forgot the part where everyone yells, “WHY WOULD I PAY $10 TO GO SEE THAT NO TALENT CLOWN AT THE MOVIES!” and then you explain to them that this is not a Kevin Hart movie.

    • Someone message Suzanne and tell her saturnian has got this post on lock.
