Jeff Tweedy Portlandia

As promised, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy appeared in a season 4 episode of Portlandia last night. Tweedy played himself in a sketch that involved Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen urging him to write a folk song more in line with his suburban upbringing. It’s funny, so press play.

The episode also featured jazz duo Tuck & Patti, featuring Tuck Andress, uncle of fellow Portlandia pal Annie Clark of St. Vincent. Clark made her second and third guest appearances this season.

  1. This song reminds me of my days in upper management at a suburban coal oil-powered campfire alarm factory asylum. Good times.

  2. “Ohhh, I like you.” LOL
