Popstrangers – “Don’t Be Afraid”

Popstrangers’ Fortuna is shaping up quite nicely. “Don’t Be Afraid,” the second offering from the New Zealand-gone-London band’s upcoming album, trades the fervent power-pop sugar rush of lead single “Country Kills” for an effortlessly dreamy float anchored by an easygoing heavyweight bass groove. It’s fascinating and rewarding music worth wrapping your head around, so do that below.

Fortuna is out 5/27 on Carpark.
