Jack White - "Lazaretto" Video

Jack White’s “Lazaretto” is a beast, and its video features one. Specifically, there’s a raging bull involved in the black-and-white clip by Jonas & François, which also features a lot of glass breaking thanks to the sheer power of such good old-fashioned American artifacts as bullets, baseballs, and analog sound. Additionally, White wears a terrible suit, his shadow plays a guitar solo, and a man with a Jack White chest tattoo shows up. See all that and more below.

Lazaretto is out 6/10 on Third Man. Read our Premature Evaluation.

  1. There’s nothing terrible about that suit.

  2. Lol music video. Amazing song. I get the impression Jack White is not comfortable in front of the camera. His performance when he has to lip sync doesn’t match the energy of the song. Interesting.

  3. This is great

  4. I knew Jack White was turning into Michael Jackson.

  5. No, not MJ. Prince.

  6. White is an original. Always interested in what he is doing. Some I like, some, not so much. I expect not to expect the norm from White but in particular, the Lazaretto video seems a bit chaotic to me and he, very p*****-off. Still, will eagerly check-out the rest of the songs!
