Morrissey may have called off the remainder of his North American tour, but he did play enough shows to debut a few of the songs from his new album World Peace Is None Of Your Business, and one of those songs was “The Bullfighter Dies,” in which a matador is gored to death and everyone is happy to see him go. Moz also made a spoken-word video for the song, and now he’s shared the actual studio version. The song has a mournful trumpet intro and some glorious use of accordion, and its production has some of the same twinkle as Morrissey’s best solo work. The song is only two minutes long, but it’s a good one, and you can hear it below.
World Peace Is None Of Your Business is out 7/15 on Harvest.
