Diplo’s dancehall production crew Major Lazer have a new album called Peace Is The Mission coming out later in the spring, and they’ve got a ton of collaborators lined up on it. We’ve heard “Lean On,” with MØ and DJ Snake, and “Night Riders,” with 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, and Mad Cobra. And now the group has teamed up with British pop queen Ellie Goulding on “Powerful,” a song that combines the group’s festival-dance aesthetics with Goulding’s sweeping sense of melody. The reggae star Tarrus Riley shows up on the hook. The song is out in the world right now, and you can hear a radio rip below.
