The Garbage Pail Kids Movie was made at the height of the creepy little knock-off caricatures’ popularity in the ’80s, and it’s widely considered to be one of the worst movies ever made. Even though its status is probably best left to that of a curiosity and also-ran, producer and prolific Jorge Elbrecht has started a project to re-score the movie alongside his friend Max Schneider. They’ve already completed some of it, and have uploaded a scene from the movie scored to a track from Elbrecht’s metal alias Coral Cross. The new song, called “Covered In Scabs,” only makes the movie creepier and weirder to watch. Check it out below.
