The Crooked Corners are a Pavement cover band from Nashville who claim to provide their fans with “the ultimate Pavement experience,” and during their hometown performance at the Stone Fox last week, they were greeted by two of their heroes. As Spin points out, Pavement’s percussionist/vocalist Bob Nastanovich and drummer Steve West were in the audience and hopped onstage to perform “Stereo,” “Conduit For Sale,” and “Range Life” with Crooked Corners.
