Basia Bulat — Good Advice
Jessy Lanza — Oh No
Andy Shauf — The Party
U.S. Girls — Half Free
Black Mountain — IV

The winner will be announced on 9/19 at the Polaris Music Prize Gala and the recipient of the award will receive $50,000 dollars. Three very famous Canadians are notably absent from this list: the Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and Drake.
