Notorious B.I.G. SUV Joins Tupac Car On The Auction Block

Last week, the car that Tupac was shot in went up for auction, and today the SUV that Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed in also went up for sale via the same memorabilia dealer. (The 20th anniversary of Biggie’s death is in a couple of days.) As The Guardian reports, the 1997 GMC Suburban was bought at public auction in October 1997, and the owner only became aware of the history of the car in 2005.

The passenger door that was hit in the drive-by shooting had been taken by police as part of the murder investigation, but it will be returned if the car sells for its auction price of $1.5 million. The only evidence of the shooting that remains visible in the car is a bullet hole mark on the seatbelt. The owner of Biggie’s car approached the memorabilia dealer after seeing Pac’s car go up for sale.
