Eric Matthews, one half of the pioneering chamber-pop duo Cardinal, is about to release his first solo album in nine years. Too Much World is out on Friday, and in anticipation of the LP’s impending arrival, Matthews has shared a new music video for its oddly Sugar Ray-inspired lead single “Exactly Like Them.” The clip, directed by Patrick Davis, is simple but effective, showing a whole band of Eric Matthewses (Eric Matthews Band? EMB?) playing in front of various urban backdrops. Watch below.
