Earlier this week, the former Gossip leader Beth Ditto announced that she’d have a solo album called Fake Sugar out this summer, and she shared the great shit-stomper of a lead single “Fire.” Today, she drops the “Fire” video, and it stars Ditto as a nudie-suited singer in a Western bar somewhere way out in the sticks. Director Prince James (presumably not the one from Sofia The First) tells the story of an aggressive line-dancing session that somehow leads into a full-on bar brawl, and he tells in in reverse, Memento-style. It’s a very fun video, and you can watch it below.
