JAY-Z Announces 4:44 Tour

JAY-Z’s new album 4:44 did not seem like the sort of album that would serve as an excuse to launch a tour. For one thing, the album itself is so insular and vulnerable and consciously small that it’s hard to picture JAY performing its songs live, especially in arenas or stadiums. For another, the man’s wife just had twins. These both seem like good reasons to stay home for a while, but that’s not what JAY is doing. While he hasn’t said which venues he’ll be playing, the man has just announced a pretty extensive fall tour that’ll kick off in Anaheim in October. Tidal subscribers will naturally get the first shot at pre-ordering tickets. JAY is always an absolute monster of a live performer, so, misgivings about how the new music might sound onstage aside, this is something you should seriously consider. Check out the tour dates below.
