Since there was a positive response to yesterday’s XYZ Affair video post, and we messed up relaying the proper tourdates twice, we figured it was appropriate to follow up with some MP3 action and behind-the-scenes gossip.

Now that that’s outta the way, let’s hear from frontman Alex Feder. Specifically: How did XYZ get all those Nickelodeon stars to appear in the video?

Alex tells us:

“The story behind the video is pretty simple: I came up with the idea as just sort of ‘Man wouldn’t that be ridiculous?’ So through a bunch of friends, etc, we tracked down these peoples’ contact info. I joined IMDBpro for a week to get a lot of them, I have a friend who works in Hollywood who got me the rest. Basically, we just asked a bunch of people and some said yes, some said no, some didn’t respond, and there we were. We actually were talking to the agent of David Brisbin (aka Mr. Ernst) for a while, but then she stopped responding. We shot the video all in one day in our apartment. The actors were the nicest most amazing people in the world.”
