Coldplay Do “Paradise” On Letterman

By Tom Breihan / September 21, 2011

Last night, Coldplay came to the Late Show With David Letterman to play “Paradise,” their sleepy new single. They brought pianos and laser-lights with them, and you’ll be happy to learn that they are no longer wearing those ugly-ass Viva La Vida-era tasseled uniforms onstage. Letterman’s inexplicable joke about their album title actually made me guffaw. Watch it below.

Coldplay’s album Mylo Xyloto (or, if you prefer, GO SIT IN THE TRUCK) is out 10/24 on Capitol. The band also played a Live On Letterman session, but the player on that appears to be busted at the moment.
