I'll Be Your Mirror

The people at All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced the schedule for their Portishead-curated I’ll Be Your Mirror festival, which takes over Asbury Park, New Jersey the weekend after next. Perusing this thing, it’s pretty remarkable how user-friendly the whole experience appears to be. If you have tickets to catch a rare unicorn glimpse of Jeff Mangum on Friday night, for instance, you’ll probably have to leave Shellac a little bit early and show up to see Bonnie ’Prince’ Billy a little bit late, but you should comfortably be able to see most of both of those sets. You will, however, have to make a devil’s-bargain decision between Ultramagnetic MCs and Swans. Sorry.

  1. Chavez?! They’re still around? I remember seeing “Break Up Your Band ” on 120 Minutes…
