Cadence Weapon

“88″ is the latest track from the whip-smart Edmonton rapper/producer (and former critic) Cadence Weapon and the first taste from his forthcoming album Hope In Dirty City. As you might surmise from the title, it’s an exercise in golden-age rap nostalgia. But that impression is a little complicated by the fact that is samples “Eight,” a song from Grimes, the most 2012 artist alive. Use the widget below to stream or download the track.
