Peaking Lights - Lucifer

Last year, the married Wisconsin synth-dub duo Peaking Lights broke out with their album 936. They’re already planning to unleash the self-produced follow-up album Lucifer on us this summer. And to give us some idea how the new album will sound, they’ve put together a new 72-minute mix that combines clips from tracks that’ll appear on the new album with various tracks that influenced them. The whole thing is unlabelled, so good luck trying to figure out what’s old and what’s new. Listen to it below.

Lucifer is out 6/18 on Weird World. In the lead-up to its release, they’ll post more mixes on this site.

  1. I think Peaking Lights’ “936″ is one of the most underrated albums of 2011. I really liked it, although my husband found it too stony.

  2. This goes well on my cereal.
