Comments

Thank you Kelly, and Gabe, and Lindsay and Scott. In my job I see the worst side of the internet on a daily basis. I read comments that contain the worst slurs and abuse. I've had death threats myself via the internet. I'm sure the people who post them are just normal folk, but they don't think about the person sitting there, reading it all. That's why Videogum means so much to me. Because it proves that the internet doesn't have to be a nightmare. You/we've built a wonderfully strong community here, that values opinions and humour and takes itself just the right amount of serious. I've had a lot of laughs here, got through some very bad times personally and met some great people, and next time I get across the Atlantic, I hope to see some of them. I wish you a whole heap of luck in whatever you do next. And I hope we all stay in touch as best we can.
Laughed and cried at the same time... :(
Maybe if we all club all our loose change together to pay for it?
I hear ya. You all got me through the worst break-up and the year of hell that followed. Couldn't have done it without everyone.
It's gotta end .jpg :)
I'm just upvoting everything while I can still show my appreciation.
It's a rite of passage to fuck up your first post! That's how you know you're one of us...
Cool! I would for sure be happy to write about books, although it would not be regular given I have a stupidly demanding job.
Will you guys accept submissions for mobfd too? (not necessarily offering but I do feel the need to talk about The Goldfinch fairly soon)
TRUCK! Who else is going to tell me I'm brilliant and deserve so much better?!
Unbelievably, gnidrah was still free. Hold on to your hats, Kate Middleton posts coming your way.
Nothing you can't pull off with a red and a blue sharpie!
Today I bought the wrong sandwich, I thought it was cheese but it turned out I can't read and it actually said 'proscuitto', which I have an irrational fear of, so I had to leave half of it because mentally I just couldn't cope with the knowledge of what I was eating. And also I couldn't pull the offending meat out of it because people were looking and I'm meant to be an adult. What I'm saying is, I'm cracking up and VG needs to hang on for a bit longer for me.
Yay! (to the party, not the ticket) I think the clear answer to the costume is NORWAY: http://static3.businessinsider.com/image/52e184a6eab8eafe101b31f2/norways-curling-team-will-once-again-be-the-best-dressed-at-the-winter-olympics.jpg
I'll ask mine tomorrow, jeez LOOK AT US ALL :)
What the actual? We'll deal with that.
I met Irene Adler once, she was having face make-up put on her hands.
