yea i can't imagine that it's live - just like all the artists getting together and "jamming" on youtube i think the only practical way to do it is just like you said.
the headline is misleadingly false and should be updated for accuracy: Moz did not "apologize to" Robert Smith - he admits that he said terrible things about him, claims that he didn't mean those things, and then claims to not be morally responsible for saying those things.
that is extremely different than apologizing to someone.
@Gregory if i didn't respect Madge, i wouldn't be so consistently disappointed in her recent work. respecting her doesn't mean loving everything she does, it's about knowing that she is capable of more, and cheering for her to "rise" to the occasion of her forty-year legacy and make another really great album. to put it another way, if i didn't respect her, instead of being disappointed, i just wouldn't care.
also, having read through the five comments that you said "F everyone" too, i don't see any criticism that reads as sexist - where exactly are you reading this criticism as being focused on her gender? or is that just your own focus?
"And who’s to say she doesn’t deserve it?"
Millions of hardworking women and men who have tried and failed to get anywhere in the music business by writing great songs and playing hundreds of gigs every year, rather than just being an asshole on TV.
my thoughts exactly. it's funny that people are reacting as though Win wrote this. it was obviously written by Clickhole, which is not everyone's teacup.
don't understand the connection you're trying to make; he covered that album really, really well.
the real reason he shouldn't feel justified talking shit about another musician is that it's a shitty thing to do.
love this, bloc - i do feel as though i'm swimming against a tidal swell here with all the AF hate. it's almost enough to convince me that i don't actually like the new music, but gosh damn it, i still do.
i do see where you're coming from here, but because i love analogies, does this mean that a head chef/restaurant owner can't dictate a dress code in her/his restaurant? because if i'm paying $300 for dinner, i should be able to dictate the terms of my experience?
this is kinda moot now that Win cleared things up, but shouldn't an artist be able to dictate the terms of the experience they're attempting to deliver?
