Mastodon will release the new album Once More ‘Round The Sun next month, and today share a bit more of what it will sound like. We’ve already heard “High Road,” and now we’ve got a preview of “Chimes At Midnight.” It’s the intro to the song and a major tease when it fades away right as the drums are about to kick in full blast. Still it’s worth checking out, and if posting this means we all get another excuse to marvel at the album’s artwork then we’ll happily take it.

They actually debuted “Chimes At Midnight” in Seattle last month and you can watch fan video of that live version below.
