For old heads like me, David Lowery is best-known as the frontman for Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker. More recently, he’s been in the news for railing against the digital music system — efforts that have included calling out an NPR intern for admitting to file sharing. Lowery talks about all that — the musical history and the recent advocacy — on the most recent episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. I haven’t listened yet, but Maron is arguably the greatest interviewer in the game, and it’ll be interesting to hear what he teases out of Lowery. Check out the episode here.
