Brighton/Oxford indie-pop kid Max Levy performs as King Of Cats. His debut album Working Out is coming soon via Art Reeks, a collaboration between leading UK underground labels Art Is Hard and Reeks Of Effort. Levy wails, whimpers, and screams his way through Working Out highlight “Ulcers” like a fragile Black Francis by way of Daniel Johnston. The results are raw yet soaring, a patchwork hot air balloon wobbling on the strength of a roaring flame. Listen below.
